Closed auctions

On October 7-10, 2014 the auction house Künker will conduct the auctions #255-257. Highlight of the sale is the first part of the Horn Collection. Series from Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland will follow. The last day of the sale is devoted to ancient coins.

Auctiones announces that eAuction #30 is taking place from October 5 to 19 2014. The sale has a pre-sale estimate of more than 275’000 CHF featuring 348 lots from Greek and Roman antiquity, Early Medieval and Byzantine times, the Islamic World, World coins, and Lots.

On Saturday, 4 October, 2014, the sale of orders and decorations will be conducted, which is the 10th of Künker’s so far. It will include i. a. the insignia of the Russian Imperial Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, estimated at 750,000 euros. Next in line is auction #254 with many rarities, such as large series from China, Italy and Switzerland.

The upcoming Numismatica Leiloes Auctions features a rich selection of Portuguese coins solely certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). The auction will be held on October 3, 2014 at the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa.

Agora Auctions sale #17 is now live, which will be a dedicated auction for Spartan Numismatics. It includes South Italian Greek coins, attractive Republican denarii and Roman Imperial, British and Medieval coins. The sale begins closing September 30th, 2014, 12:00:00 EST.

On September 28, 2014 Roma Numismatics will present their Auction VIII in London. Highlight of this auction is a Byzantine gold medallion that is estimated at one million pound, on display at 20 Hanover Square, London, September 1-27, 2014.

Classical Numismatic Group’s Electronic Auction 335 offers 926 lots closing 24 September from 10 AM ET. The auction features a number of important collections, for example the collections of Patrick H. C. Tan, the JDW Collection and the Warden Family Collection.

On September 18-20, 2014, Stephen Album Rare Coins will present their 20th Auction in Santa Rosa, California. Among the 2,978 lots there will be the Nicholas Rhodes Collection of Chinese Cash Coins and the Dr. John Lund Collections of Norwegian and Danish India Coins.

Auction 97 of Classical Numismatic Group is an internet and mail bid sale closing electronically on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, from 9 AM ET. It offers classical Greek and Roman coins as well as coins from Islamic and British collections.
