Alan Walker summarizes the most interesting results of Nomos 23 featuring coins from Sicily from “the Collection I”.

Nomos 23 will take place on 30th November 2021 in Zürich featuring over 360 lots. A highlight is a gold tetralitron struck in Syracuse – only seven more are known. It is estimated at 100,000 CHF and Alan Walker presents it with some other chosen rarities.

Due to their expanding business, Nomos AG moved to bigger offices. The new office provides more space and is still located in the heart of Zurich.

The Obolos 20 auction from Nomos AG featured a selection of 1,604 lots with a total starting price of 185,308 CHF. After 7,426 bids 93% of the sale was sold and realized a total hammer price of 418,520 CHF.

In Obolos 20 Nomos AG offers almost 500 lots from the well-known Vineyard Collection focussing on ancient coins with types that have references to wine. Collectors will find many rare and unusual coins with solid pedigrees. Alan Walker presents some of the highlights.

Nomos presents its 22nd auction featuring 441 high quality lots from ancient to modern times. Alan Walker talks in his usual witty way about an especially rare and remarkable tetradrachm of Seleukos II Kallinikos with an interesting portrait, and other highlights.

Nomos e-sale Obolos 19 was a success selling 95% of all lots and more than doubling the total starting price. Alan Walker presents some interesting and honorable results of the sale.

Nomos’ Obolos 19 presents 1,211 lots of mainly Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins as well as some medieval and world coins. Alan Walker presents a selection of particularly interesting and mentionable coins in his unique witty manner.

Nomos’ new e-auction Obolos 18 is a single-owner sale being dedicated to the large Trausnitz collection. The collection was closed in 2007 and features some very interesting specimens with good provenances. Alan Walker presents one true specialist rarity.
