Fresh to the numismatic market, a collection of coins of Morocco will join more than 500 lots of Islamic, Indian, and world coins and medals in the inaugural online-only auction for newly established numismatic auction house, Wilkes & Curtis, on Monday 16th June.

Bern-based auction house Auctiones announces that eAuction #27 will end on June 15, featuring 323 lots from Greek and Roman antiquity, Early Medieval and Byzantine times, the Islamic World, World coins, and Lots.

Classical Numismatic Groups Electronic Auction 328 will offer 774 lots closing on June 11, 2014. This sale features final selections from the Dr. Kelly J. Krizan and Demetrios Armounta Collections, offering coins from the Greek to Roman periods.

A surprise package of choice Russian material has been discovered amongst a very large group of mostly worn common coins sent to Morton & Eden for valuation. PCGS graded 39 of the coins with MS64 and higher. The items will be auctioned on June 10, 2014.

On June 10 and 11, 2014 London-based auction house Morton & Eden offered coins and medals in a general sale. The sale totalled £1,056,838 (including 20% BP) and 93% of the lots were sold by value. The top lot was a Naxos tetradrachm, sold for £74,400.

Agora Auctions’ 11th Sale is now live and begins to close Tuesday, June 10, 2014 starting at 12:00 noon EST with lots closing every 30 seconds. This sale features a rare tetradrachm of Alexander the Great from the Cabyle mint. The sales now run every two weeks.

It is an icon of numismatics, the stater in the name of Phanes, enigmatic witness of the earliest coinage. Now it was auctioned at Lanz for 280,000 euros. Slightly less expensive was the famous EID MAR denarius of Brutus that obtained a price of 165,000 euros.

On 5 June 2014, Numismatik Lanz invites to attend its 158th auction sale at its office located at Maximiliansplatz 10 in Munich. The highlights are two coins of Phanes and the famous Brutus denarius depicting liberty cap and daggers.
