Kolbe & Fanning will auction the Salton library in cooperating with Künker. The extraordinary ensemble is especially rich in works dedicated to ancient coins and medals. Connoisseurs can also look forward to extensive holdings of old European auction catalogues.

A spectacular fluorite from Chifeng City, China, could bring $100,000 or more in Heritage Auctions’ Treasures of China Fine Minerals Auction. This sale features 133 carefully chosen minerals, one of the finest selections of minerals from China ever offered at auction.

“The Fascination of Minted Gold” is the name Künker gave to the Hermann Schwarz Collection, which contains about 1,500 gold coins. And it is just one of many collections offered in Künker’s Fall Auction Sales: the material covers the entire spectrum from antiquity to Brandenburg-Prussia and Brunswick to modern times.

CNG’s fall sale features 1,434 lots from ancient Greeks to United States coins and medals including many rare and sought-after items. The presale estimate is just over $2 million.

The American Numismatic Society sells the Robert W. Bartlett Collection of ancient Greek and Roman coins in CNG’s Keystone Auction 4. The proceeds will support the ANS.

The huge and highly important ANA Auction from Stack’s Bowers Galleries features high-quality coins from all over the world with a main focus on rare U.S. coinage such as the Sultan of Muscat-Childs-Pogue 1804 dollar sold only once in auction since 1917.

Naville Numismatics features in its new Live Auction 67 a selection of 616 lots of Greek, Roman, Byzantine coins, all chosen with contribution from NAC’s experts. The sale includes a nice run of Roman Republican denarii and coins from the Dattari collection.

Tauler & Fau’s E-Auction 90 is dedicated to one sole collection, the Voltaire Collection of Tokens and Medals from France. It offers a great variety of silver tokens in mint state and silver and bronze medals from Louis XIV to the 20th century.

Kolbe & Fanning is selling part two of the P. Scott Rubin library, which includes 923 lots featuring auction catalogues, books, periodicals, and archival and ephemeral items. With estimates ranging from $10 to $750 the auction will be held as a traditional mail-bid sale.

Stephen Album’s Internet Auction 10 is made up of an even 1,000 lots of Ancient, Islamic, Chinese, general world, and Indian coins. Lot estimates in this auction range from $40 to $1400, nearly half of the world coins are PCGS graded.
