Numismatica Ars Classica, CH-Zürich / I-Mailand

On May, 20-24, 2015 Numismatica Ars Classica will be holding four auctions, three in Zurich and one in Milan, with more than 2,400 coins. The auctions offer a vast selection of Greek, Roman, and Byzantine coins, featuring many rare and important pieces.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 351 offers 919 lots featuring Greek, Thessalian and Roman coins from well-known collections. Flagship collection of this sale is the collection of Alexandre Carathéodory Pasha. The sale will be closing on May 20, 2015, beginning at 10 AM ET.

Stack’s Bowers and Sotheby’s, USA-New York

Stack’s Bowers Galleries and Sotheby’s will conduct their New York Rarities Sale on May 20, 2015. Highlight of the sale is a certified 1907 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle, graded and encapsulated by the Professional Coin Grading Service.

On May 18, 2015 Nomos will hold their Auction 10 in Zurich. The sale offers a broad range of ancient coins and many of them come from distinguished collections like the Spina Collection or the collection of Ernst Justus Haeberlin.

Stephen Album Rare Coins, USA-Santa Rosa, California

Stephen Album will hold their 22nd Auction on May 14 and 15, 2015. The auction will consist of 1,744 lots covering the areas of Ancient, Islamic, Chinese, Indian, World, and Numismatic Literature featuring the Lund collection of coins from Finland and the Danish West Indies.

Classical Numismatic Group presents Auction 99, an Internet and Mail Bid Sale closing on May 13, 2015, from 10 AM ET (U.S.). The sale features 1318 lots of ancient Greek, Celtic, Oriental Greek, Central Asian and Roman coinage. The pre-sale estimate total is $1.8 million.
