This collection will now be auctioned off by London Coin Galleries, in collaboration with Künker, in London. The range of pieces on offer comprises 217 löser and 327 mining coins.

6.4 million pounds sterling, nearly 9 million euros, was the overall hammer price of 217 löser and 327 mining coins of the Preussag Collection, auctioned off by London Coin Galleries in collaboration with Künker. The most expensive coin of this auction, a gold jakobslöser, achieved an incredible 650,000 pounds, equivalent to 911,500 euros.

Sedwick’s Auction 18 features coins mainly from Latin America. A special highlight is a selection of silver cob coins from Potosí, Bolivia which were made for presentation, not for circulation.
