Australian Mint presents holographic silver coin

Australians celebrated the New Year and the Royal Australian Mint revealed the design on its stunning new 2014 $1 Sydney New Year’s Eve holographic silver proof coin. It features the “all-seeing eye” which was central to the midnight fireworks display on Sydney Harbour.

New 10 euro banknote unveiled

On 13 January 2014, the new 10 euro banknote was unveiled at a press conference at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The note has a refreshed design and some enhanced security features. Circulation in the euro area starts on 23 September 2014.
