Numismata Munich won’t take place in March 2022 either. The organiser, Münzen Modes, has announced on its website that the show “has to take another break in 2022”.

The reason for this is, of course, the current development of the pandemic – the health of visitors and exhibitors is their top priority says Münzen Modes. Such a large and international event cannot be planned at short notice; in addition, changes in entry and security requirements may lead to uncertainty and cancellations.

Visitors and organisers are still shocked by what happened when the pandemic started in March 2020. Back then, Numismata was cancelled on the very morning of the first day of the show. The other Numismata events in the autumn of 2020 and throughout 2021 also had to be cancelled.

The next Numismata Munich is now scheduled to take place in 2023, a date hasn’t been given yet. There are also no dates yet for the events in Berlin and Frankfurt/Main in 2022, only the indication that they are “expected to take place”.

The last Numismata Munich was held in 2019.
