At CIT in Liechtenstein they had been planning a CEO transition for quite some time. At the end of 2021 Heimo Steriti stepped back as CEO. On 1 January 2022 Johann Berner took over the role of CEO. Johann, along with Jeanette Berner, Mauritius Joos and Raphael Wyss have been doing a great job for the company in the management of the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic objectives for many years. They are a well-rehearsed team and will continue to lead CIT successfully in the future.
Heimo Steriti will continue to provide advice and support in his new role as Chairman of the CIT Supervisory Board. Steriti said: “I have every confidence in Johann and the entire management team. It is a good feeling to hand over a large part of the responsibility and the management to the next generation and to know that CIT is in safe hands.”
