Three interesting collections helped to attract bidders to the sale. One major highlight from the collection of Dr. Axel Wahlstedt was a Mughal zodiac ½ rupee, the first of its kind offered at public auction. It realized a price of $41,650.

1,367 lots went under the hammer resulting in total sales of £3,143,566 (excluding fees). The sale’s highlight was an excessively rare aureus of Julia Domna in Fleur de Coin condition, sold for £80,000.
