Auction 37 set a new record for Stephen Album Rare Coins with a total price realized of $1.85 million. A Chinese Pavilion dollar sold for an astounding price of $130,900 – more than three times the previous sales records for a Pavilion dollar.

The Stack’s Bowers Galleries June 2020 Auction continued the trend of exceptional prices realized. Over $5 million was realized in the June sale across United States coins, tokens and medals, achieving 114% of the pre-sale estimate on sold lots.

As the Long Beach Expo was cancelled, Heritage moved their expo auction to their website. And it was a success nevertheless: the U.S. Coins portion of the auctions brought a combined $11,051,014. Top lots were a pair of rare Indian Eagles sold for high six-figure sums each.

Although rescheduled and in jeopardy of cancellation due to worldwide efforts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, Stack’s Bowers and Ponterios Hong Kong Auction was a big success, with $13,207,382 total prices realized.

“Una and the Lion” was the highlight of the Taisei Auction on May 3, 2020. This numismatic icon of Great Britain realized 86,500,000 Yen (about $810,000 USD).
