On February 15 and 16, 2018 in auction 46 Münzen & Medaillen GmbH will offer a collection of Greek coins, a fine run of Celtic issues, and late-Roman coins from the Weder collection. In addition the library of Hans-Jörg Kellner will be on sale.

Auction 337 held by Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger on 8-9 February 2018 will feature modern coins and medals including a collection of Bavarica and the first section of Ch. Heine-Elsensohn’s important collection of Judaica.

Auction 336 by Munich-based auction house Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger on 7 February 2018 features nearly 820 lots of ancient coins. On sale will be Celtic, Greek, Persian and Sassanian coins as well as Roman and Byzantine emissions.

The German auction house Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger in Munich will start the year 2018 with an auction sale of antiquities on February 6th. This collection consists of more than 800 rare works of art produced in a wide variety of epochs, places, and art styles.

The pre-sale estimate total for the 1,113 coins and medals to cross the block at the three Künker auctions on February 1, 2018 is 6.1 million euros. Besides precious rarities from all over the world, the material offered includes four top-class collections.

On occasion of 50 years Cayón Numismática the Spanish auction house will hold an extraordinary auction on 31 January 2018 at the Hotel Palace in in Madrid. The auction will be featuring 513 lots of ancient, Spanish and World coins including almost 400 gold 8 escudos.

Stephen Album Rare Coins will hold its Auction 30 on January 18-20, 2018. The auction will comprise of 2,789 lots of Ancient, Islamic, Chinese, General World, and Indian Coins from important collections, as well as a small selection of Numismatic Literature.

Held in conjunction with the NYINC on January 13, 2018, Kolbe & Fanning’s New York Book Auction will offer highlights from the William A. Burd numismatic library.

Classical Numismatic Group’s Triton XXI will be held in conjunction with the 46th Annual New York International Numismatic Convention on January 9-10, 2018. The 1570 lots offered range from Roman Egypt to Central Asia and British Coinage, the pre-sale estimate total exceeding $10 million.

Nearly 6,200 lots from all around the globe will be offered at Heritage Auctions’ January 7-8 NYINC World Coins Auction. A particular highlight is the first English gold coin which is expected to bring more than $500,000.
