Heritage Auctions’ five day numismatic auctions held in conjunction with the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Convention in Denver, Aug. 2-6 realized $30,809,780 across U.S. coins, World & Ancient coins and U.S. currency.

The American Numismatic Association Convention will feature historically-important discoveries during Heritage Auctions’ August 2-6, 2017 events in Denver. The live auctions span U.S. gold, World and Ancient rarities and choice currency specimens.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries announces the results of their August 2017 ANA auction of world coins, world paper money and ancient coins. In total, it realized over $19 million with the ancient coins, world coins and world paper money realizing $4.54 million.

400 lots will be offered at Solidus Premium Auction 18. The range stretches from ancient to modern coins. A Lake Constance bracteate from an old collection is probably being offered for the first time ever on an auction, another one for the first time since 1922.

Solidus presents 453 lots online in their Literature Auction 17 on 8 July 2017. The publications date from 1700 to 2012. A large part of the auction consists of very interesting early auction catalogs from the 19th and 20th century with many important collections.

One of the finest known 1876 twenty cent pieces led the results as Heritage Auctions’ July 6-9 auction in Orlando, Florida, realized nearly $6 million.

Parts of the collections of Israeli jeweler Shlomo Moussaieff and German architect Günther Marschall constitute the core of the ensemble of ancient art, to be sold by Gorny & Mosch at Auction 248 on June 30, 2017.
