Auction 336 by Munich-based auction house Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger on 7 February 2018 features nearly 820 lots of ancient coins. On sale will be Celtic, Greek, Persian and Sassanian coins as well as Roman and Byzantine emissions.

The German auction house Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger in Munich will start the year 2018 with an auction sale of antiquities on February 6th. This collection consists of more than 800 rare works of art produced in a wide variety of epochs, places, and art styles.

On February 1, 2018 the 13th Berlin-auction of the Osnabrück auction house Künker took place. The 1,113 lots, which were estimated at 6 m. euros, attained an impressive overall result of 10 m. euros. Three special collections all doubled their estimate.

The pre-sale estimate total for the 1,113 coins and medals to cross the block at the three Künker auctions on February 1, 2018 is 6.1 million euros. Besides precious rarities from all over the world, the material offered includes four top-class collections.

The “Extraordinary Auction” of Cayón Subastas in Madrid, Spain, January 31, 2018 saw especially strong results with a large group of Spanish gold 8 escudos. A gold 100 pesetas 1871 of Amadeo I sold for 137,000 euro.

On occasion of 50 years Cayón Numismática the Spanish auction house will hold an extraordinary auction on 31 January 2018 at the Hotel Palace in in Madrid. The auction will be featuring 513 lots of ancient, Spanish and World coins including almost 400 gold 8 escudos.

Solidus Numismatik runs live-auction 25 on 27 January 2018 featuring 795 lots of international numismatic literature including bibliophilic rarities from the beginning of the 18th century to auction catalogs documenting important collections.

Stephen Album Rare Coins will hold its Auction 30 on January 18-20, 2018. The auction will comprise of 2,789 lots of Ancient, Islamic, Chinese, General World, and Indian Coins from important collections, as well as a small selection of Numismatic Literature.
