In auction 113 Solidus presents 444 lots, containing a run of Polish coins with many rarities, some very rare Russian issues, and Gold coins from all periods.

An 1870-S Three Dollar Gold, SP50 sold for a record $5.52 million leads Heritage’s auction at FUN on January 5, 2023. The coin came from the Bass Collection whose proceeds will benefit Dallas-based nonprofits.

Münzen & Medaillen GmbH is holding its fourth electronic auction. A collection of 250 Chinese coins will be sold, including dollar pieces from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

CNG offers 335 coins and scale weights from the David Hendin collection, many are plate coins from Hendin’s reference work. The proceedings will completely benefit the American Numismatic Society for an important project.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries will be offering various strong collections at the January 2023 NYINC auction. Among them the Anthony J. Taraszka Collection with Polish rarities and the Sigma Collection of Russian coins.

Rusty Pennies has published its 56th Fixed Price Sale. It comprises 181 lots. Most of the coins and medals are from one collection and have not been seen on the market for many years. As holiday incentive clients will have a special discount.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 530 includes 1096 lots. The sale features selections from the MWF, D.K., Cloudesly, and J.-P. Righetti Collections, with particularly strong offerings in the Greek and Roman Provincial sections.

Solidus concludes 2022 with auction 111. The sale comprises 148 high-quality lots of selected numismatic literature with many rarities and bibliophilic treasures from the 16th to the 19th century.
