At CNG’s Triton XXVI during NYINC 2023 a unique 10-aurei gold medallion of Roman Emperor Diocletian was sold for $2.327 million – the record for the highest price paid for a Roman Imperial coin so far.

Queen Anne 5 Guineas are not so rare, but they are extremely rare in mint state. That was the reason why a specimen on sale during Heritage’s NYINC auction was sold for $264,000. Two other pieces achieved the same sum.

Steve Album’s Auction 45 in January 2023 features 3,355 lots of ancient, Islamic, Chinese, Indian, and World Coins. The sale comprises two Chinese coin collections, a collection of Northeast Indian coins, and high-grade coins of British India.
