Carlos III Collection at Cayón
Cayón Subastas offers in its upcoming Subasta Extraordinaria – Carlos III Collection more than 650 lots. The auction closes on 9th February 2023 beginning at 4:30 PM (Madrid, Spain).
All 657 lots offered are gold and silver coins minted in the reign of Carlos III in all mints: Guatemala, Lima, Madrid, Mexico, Nuevo Reino, Popayan, Potosi, Santiago and Sevilla. Among the coins there are more than 180 gold 8 escudos, almost 70 gold 4 escudos and more than 225 coins of 1 and 2 escudos. Offered are also several extremely rare coins and some pieces which are the only specimen known (at least by Cayón). The extrarodinary and terrific collection includes a lot of varieties and over dates.
