The international coin trade is booming thanks to Covid. This affects the prices of coins of the German Empire, too. In Heidelberger Münzhandlung’s auction, pieces of outstanding quality achieved results that had previously been unheard of: 25,500 euros for 1 mark 1879 A and 17,750 euros for 5 marks “Eichbaum” 1930 E.

Two anniversaries at once: 1st July 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Münzenhandlung Fritz Rudolf Künker. Additionally, Künker’s 350th auction will take place. That’s reason enough for a numismatic firework with many rarities!

Tauler & Fau present their Selection Auction 87 featuring 374 choice lots from ancient to modern times including many important numismatic rarities from Greek and Rome with cabinet pieces in mint state or fleur de coin. A true feast for the eyes!

Nomos presents its 22nd auction featuring 441 high quality lots from ancient to modern times. Alan Walker talks in his usual witty way about an especially rare and remarkable tetradrachm of Seleukos II Kallinikos with an interesting portrait, and other highlights.

Classical Numismatic Group is offering the Klasma Asami Collection of Greek fractions, an exceptional offering of ancient small silver denominations. A nice selection of numismatic literature is also available.

June 11, Cayón Subastas will be selling 1,764 lots featuring paper money mainly from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. The sale focuses on Spanish bank notes, but there are world paper money, shares and bonds, too.

On 10th June Cayón Subastas will be selling the 3rd part of the extraordinary Collection of Spanish Medieval Coins. The sale features 622 lots of rare coins from Alfonso XI (1312) to Fernando V (1460) and others.
