A collection of Gold Sovereigns that spans 525 years, 15 Monarchs and seven mints, will be offered for sale by London based auctioneers, A. H. Baldwin & Sons Ltd, on Thursday 8th May 2014. The comprehensive date collection consists of 394 Sovereigns from the earliest hammered examples to modern milled.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 326 offers 761 lots and closes on May 7, 2014. The sale features among others cast and struck bronzes from Magna Graecia, 4th century centenionales and Crusader bronzes.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 325 offers 927 lots and will be closing on April 23, 2014. The sale features among others a selection from the BCD Collection, Islamic dinars, and Venetian ducati.

Agora Auction’s Numismatic Sale #8 is now live and closes Tuesday, April 22, 2014 starting at 12:00 noon EST with lots closing every 30 seconds. The sale includes Eastern rarities, a few scarcer Roman emperors, and a nice selection of antiquities.

Morton & Eden will sell an extremely rare Islamic gold coin never previously offered for auction. It will be a highlight from their auction of Important Coins of the Islamic World, to be held in London on Thursday April 10, 2014.

On April 10, 2014 London-based auction house Morton & Eden offered high quality Islamic coins in their auction 69 totalling £527,640. Top lot was a Dirham of Tukharistan.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 324 offers 771 lots and closes on April 9, 2014. The sale presents the final offering of coins from the 1990s Balkan Area Hoard, Roman Republican coins from the Demetrios Armounta Collections, and Northumbrian coinage.

On Sunday, April 6, 2014 Live Auction 6 of Naville Numismatics Ltd. will start closing. The auction features a selection of 231 lots of Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins, selected with the contribution of NAC’s experts.

Bonhams will sell an archive of rare historical documents, coins and medals created and owned by Augustin Dupré, who worked for both Louis XVI and Napoleon Bonaparte as well as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. The collection will be on sale in New York on 2nd April 2014 as one lot for an estimated $300,000 to $500,000.

Agora Auctions’ Numismatic Sale #7 is now live and closes April 1, 2014. The auction features among the ancient coins specimens from the famous Goodman collection, but also scarce Confederate States of America notes and pre-Columbian art.
