In 2023, the Coin of the Year (COTY) Awards will be given to coins minted in 2021. From all the coins submitted, the nominating committee selected 100 coins, 10 coins for each of the 10 categories. Now the international jury announced the winners of the ten categories.
And here are the winners of 2023:

Best Coin Commemorating a Historical Event
National Bank of Ukraine, Ukraine, 10 hryvnias, 1 oz, silver: “The 25th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Constitution”
Best Gold Coin
United States Mint, United States of America, 100 dollars, 1 oz, gold: “American Liberty”
Best Silver Coin
Shenzhen Guobao Mint, China, 20 yuan, silver: “Auspicious Culture – Swans”
Best Crown Coin
Royal Canadian Mint, Canada, 20 dollars, 1 ounce, silver: “Black and Gold – The Grey Wolf”
Best Circulation Coin
Royal Canadian Mint, Canada, 10 cents: “Bluenose”
Best Bi-Metal Coin
Austrian Mint, Austria, 25 euros, bimetal (silver, niobium): “Mobility of the future”
Most Artistic Coin
National Bank of Ukraine, Ukraine, 5 hryvnias: “The 30th Anniversary Ukraine’s Independence”
Most Innovative Coin
Austrian Mint, Austria, 20 Euro, silver: “Milky Way”
Most Inspiring Coin
Tokelau, 20 dollars, 3 ounces, silver: “The Next Evolution – LOVE”
