The overall estimate of 934,000 € for 868 lots at Peus’ autumn sale resulted in a total hammer price of 1,713,000 €, i.e. an increase of 83 %. Above all, it were the collection’s peculiarity and outstanding quality which encouraged the bidders.

London Coin Galleries/ Künker, GB-London

On 1 November 2016 London Coin Galleries, in cooperation with Künker, sold the second part of the Preussag Collection. Having been estimated at 630,000 pounds, the end result of the 772 lots with mining coins and medals amounted to 1.6 m pounds (= 1.8 m euros).

Sincona AG, CH-Zurich

Sincona hosted seven auction sales realizing an impressive total of 9.7 Mio Swiss Francs (= 9.5 Mio $). The auction week featured special collections of Russia, Tunis, Switzerland, Banknotes as well as World Coins.
