Hobby-changing discoveries of World and U.S. coins paced Heritage Auctions’ late April Chicago Coin Expo & Central States Numismatic Society auctions to $38,150,247, registering a 99 percent sell-through rate by value and lot for U.S. Coins.

Dr. Busso Peus Nachf. offers more than 2,000 lots in their auction 422 beginning on 26 April 2018. One of the highlights is the first part of the Hommel collection consisting of over 8,000 Roman coins with many provenances going as far back as to the Wilhelmine era.

A rare proof specimen of the 1836 Classic Head Quarter Eagle and an extraordinary 1915-S Panama-Pacific Round Fifty Dollar Gold Piece are highlighting Heritage Auctions’ seven sessions during the Central States Numismatic Society Convention, from April 25-29.

More than 3,000 bidders with 400 present in Osnabrück: Künker’s spring auctions were a full success. The 6,700 lots rose from a total estimate of 7.3 M to 11 M euros. The gold coins of Mecklenburg and Lübeck were particularly sought-after, as well as the coins of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire.

Patrick Guillard and Pierre Crinon will be auctioning the Dominique Fenouil Collection of French silver crowns on 8 March in Paris featuring a complete collection of this coin type struck between 1641 and 1889.
