As every year in December, Gorny & Mosch will offer ancient art in a specialized auction sale. There is something suitable there for every collector. The spectrum ranges from Prehistory to Byzantium, from items in the lower three-figure sphere to a fountain figure for 250,000 euros.

The Live Auction 4 of Naville Numismatics Ltd., which will take place on internet, start closing on Sunday 15th December 2013, at 18.00 GMT, when the Live session will begin. The auction features a Tarentum’s nomos of superb style and an interesting series of Roman denarii.

On 9th December, NUMISMATIK LANZ will conduct auction sale no. 157. The Focus are ancient coins, the Habsburg Empire and Italy featuring numerous rarities. Two collections, accumulated over the course of many years, will be liquidated.

Roughly 300 lots comprising coins of the Italian commercial city of Genoa make the highlight of the Victor Gadoury auction sale which is rich in rarities at any rate. Ranging from antiquity to modern times, from the Old to the New World, this auction has something to offer for every collector. The sale takes place one day prior to the international coin fair “Grande Bourse” in Monaco.

Münzen and Medaillen GmbH, based in Weil am Rhein, will hold their 39th auction in Stuttgart on 27th November 2013. The auction covers a great variety of numismatic themes, from ancient Greek and Roman coins to 20th century banknotes and art medallions.

From 19th to 21st November 2013, an additional Künker sale will take place featuring among others the most important-ever sale of orders and decorations of Künker. Collectors will spot world coins and medals from antiquity to today.

On 18 November 2013 Numismatica Ars Classica will be holding three auctions in one day offering spectacular Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins. The event includes the 1st part of the JDL collection in association with Tradart SA.

On November 18, 2013 Tradart and Numismatica Ars Classica will offer together numismatic gems from the JDL collection. This collection contains so many precious pieces that it was split up and the second part will follow in May 2014.

Heritage Auctions honors the legacy of esteemed numismatic researcher, author and collector Eric P. Newman, with the “Newman Week in New York City”. On November 15 and 16 the second offering of numismatic rarities from Newman’s legendary collection feature more than $15 million in numismatic rarities, many not seen for more than 70 years.

Among others, a collection of English crowns dating from the first issues of Edward VI in 1551 features in a sale by London specialist coin and medal auctioneers Morton & Eden on Thursday 7 November. The collection is expected to realise in the region of £50,000.
