Thousands of Krugerrands stolen in Switzerland

In Zug (Switzerland) 2,800 Krugerrands were stolen during a burglary on March 8, 2014. The local police ask for special attention.

George Walton heirs donate $100,000 to the ANA

A generous donation of $100,000 has been given to the ANA. The donation will be used to update and digitize the Numismatic Diploma Program, a range of courses in numismatic training and education that will become available as online courses in the future.

Bank of Israel releases new coin in “View of Israel” series

New Coins for “47 Prefectures” in Japan

In 2014 Japan will issue again coin sets of its “47 Prefectures” series. This year’s issues will be dedicated to Ehime, Yamagata, Mie, Saitama, Ishikawa and Kagawa.
