Stack’s Bowers Galleries held their official NYINC auction in California as the convention could not take place. Thanks to the recently acquired Coins in Motion technology the online participation was vivid.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ March 2021 Auction has been relocated and will now be held in Las Vegas from 23rd to 26th March 2021 at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, in coordination with the PCGS Substitute Members Only Show.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries offers in their upcoming auction over 3,700 lots estimated at $8.6 million. The auction features many important collections as the majestic Oro del Nuevo Mundo Collection with gold and gold-related Latin American rarities.

During their December Auction Stack’s Bowers sold the second part of the Larry H. Miller collection including some of the greatest rarities in US numismatics. The 1804 Class I Original Draped Bust dollar became the most expensive US coin sold in 2020.

In 2020 Stack’s Bowers Galleries realized eight of the top ten highest auction prices realized for US coins in 2020 and nine of the top ten US banknotes. The company presents these coins.

Kevin Vinton, the expert, dealer and auctioneer in United States colonial coinage and early federal copper joined the Stack’s Bowers Galleries team. He is based in the New York City gallery.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries has opened a new headquarters in Costa Mesa. The facility offers not only an onsite auction gallery but also a 5,000 square foot event space – about 25% more space than their previous location reflecting the firm’s current growth.

Larry H. Miller built up over many decades a spectacular collection of US-American coins including many important specimens from well-known collections. Now the second part of this collection is up to sell at Stack’s Bowers Galleries.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries offered in their past November Auctions some highly important collections of American Coins: the Larry Ness Collection of Indian Peace Medals, the second part of the E Pluribus Unum Collection, and the first part of the Larry H. Miller Collection.

Stack’s Bowers Galleries acquired Coins In Motion LLC. This new technology accurately captures the in-hand visual appeal of coins and banknotes and will be available for select highlights of the firm’s auctions very soon.
