In their 150th year of existence, auction house Dr. Busso Peus Nachf. present in their 426th auction a balanced selection of ancient coins, remarkable pieces from the early modern period and a range of the German Imperial Coins after 1871.
Peus from Frankfurt can be proud of its last successful auction sale. There were impressive prices, especially in the chapters featuring coins from Germany before 1871 and Judaica. The ancient coins also brought high hammer prices, too.
A Celts Collection untouched for decades, a tasteful collection of southern German and northern Swiss bracteates and uniface pennies, unique coins from the Seleukid Empire: From ancient to modern times Peus has exciting items on offer.
In their May auction Peus offered several collections with great success: Celts, Mecklenburg, and the important Theobald Seitz Collection of medieval Meissen bracteates. German imperial coins were highly contested, too.
