Finally, after 18 months of pandemic passivity, the Swedish Government has decided to lift participation restrictions allowing also for the first numismatic trade fair – Stockholm Numismatica 2021 – to open its gates on Sunday, 3rd October 2021, from 10 AM to 16 PM. The Stockholm venue will be Sheraton Hotel, only 5 minutes convenient walking from the Grand Central Station, where all trains, busses and commuting to and from airports interconnect! This is a much forward-looking event anticipated to generate a big crowd of enthusiasts eager to spend accumulated savings on fresh numismatic world coins, bank notes, classic medals including prestige items of significance, beauty, quality, rarity and high value!

Stockholm Numismatica 2021 is the first event organized in fruitful collaboration between The Swedish Numismatic Society’s auction company Misab, (Myntauktioner i Sverige AB) and the Swedish coin dealers association, SMF (Sveriges Mynthandlares Förening). Event coordinator is Mr. Roberto Delzanno, proactive coin dealer and publisher of several recent reference books and valuations guides. The coin fair on Sunday follows on an important quality auction on Saturday (also at Sheraton Hotel) arranged by Misab. Thus, this weekend 2nd-3rd October 2021, will be a highlight for anyone interested in numismatic collecting and updating on the temperature of the market! It is expected that such a combined event weekend will become an annual autumn feature on the Stockholm horizon!

The Swedish elite of dealers will be present, a few continental dealers too, showcasing their goodies. In addition, the numismatic and related societies – such as the Swedish Numismatic Society, Coin Clubs of Sigtuna and Stockholm plus the Swedish Society for Historical Financial Shares and Documents – are also participating in order to promote and marketing their services to collectors and make offers for active membership. The whole weekend is an important social event too, facilitating mingling of born enthusiasts, beginners and curious individuals, and expose the variety of the best of what the numismatic hobby can offer.
