USA releases new import restrictions on coins from Bulgaria
On January 16, 2014, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced new import restrictions on coins from Bulgaria. This is another major expansion of import restrictions, and one that for the first time reaches coins made as recently as the 18th century.
Industrialization displayed on banknotes
From muscle power to steam engines, the new banknote exhibition held by Giesecke & Devrient, the Munich-based banknote specialist, traces the history of industrialization. The firm’s in-house museum is displaying one hundred banknotes – both historical and current – from 61 countries.

NYINC 2015 Bourse Sold Out
The 43rd Annual New York International Numismatic Convention (NYINC), scheduled for January 3-11, 2015 has a sold out bourse. Only 3 out of 130 dealers did not renew their spaces prior to departing. So only 3 dealers from the long waiting list were able to move up.
