A representative issue to the weight of 20 ducats, minted on behalf of Bavarian Duke Charles Albert in 1739 sold for 200,000 euros. And that was not the only spectacular price realized at Künker’s fall auctions.

The fall auctions at Künker offer an abundance of special collections. For example, the Dr W. R. collection of Celtic coins, the Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim collection of coins of the city of Cologne, as well as special collections of Mecklenburg, Saxony, and Bavarian gold rarities. And these are just a few examples!

On 3 October 2018 Dix Noonan Webb will be holding their Live Online Auction of Historical Medals and Tokens with room bidding available at their London offices. Collectors can find among others 17th century’s tokens from distinguished collections.

Solidus Auction 34 is the company’s third auction focused on literature. Bibliophile coin enthusiasts will spot rarities from the 16th century as well as important reference books of today. The live auction starts on 29 September 2018.

From 26-27 September 2018 Dix Noonan Webb will be holding their Live Online Auction of Orders, Decorations, Medals and Militaria with room bidding available at their London offices. Among the collections is also a collection of Queen’s and Khedive’s Sudan Medals.

Bob Lyall’s collection of cut and countermarked coins produced a classic ‘white glove sale’ at Dix Noonan Webb on 25 September 2018. The auction’s star was the only recorded countermarked 22 Guilders from Essequibo & Demerara which sold for £55,200.

On 25 September 2018 Dix Noonan Webb will be auctioning off the collection of cut and countermarked coins assembled by leading British numismatist Bob Lyall with many rarities, some of which are the only recorded specimens, and is expected to fetch up to £270,000.

Mowbray Collectables 21st International Numismatic Auction, in Wellington New Zealand on 21 September 2018, features 575 lots. Top billing goes to the only Albert Medal and Royal Humane Society of New Zealand Gold medal pair ever awarded in New Zealand.
