Auction house Corinphila offers the important Van Erp Collection of Coins and Medals from the Netherlands and Europe. Van Erp collected high-quality gems from the 1930s to the 1970s. Since then the collection had been locked away.

Heritage Auctions offer the legendary Simpson Collection of rare and important US coins. The first portion with 349 chosen items was sold on September 17th. A 1894-S Barber Dime realized $1.5 million.
