Cayón offers in their upcoming E-Auction 70 over 1,000 lots of world banknotes with a particularly strong section of Spanish notes. The auction closes on 17th October 2020.

Kolbe & Fanning Numismatic Booksellers are holding their 158th Auction on 21 November 2020. The 467-lot sale features books from the TAB Library of works on ancient coins, the extensive working library of Eldert Bontekoe, and other properties.

Nomos 21 features high quality ancient coins like one of the greatest and most desirable 5th century coins, a Naxos tetradrachm (est. 450,000 CHF). Another highlight is a legendary Libertas Americana Medal 1783 (est. 100,000 CHF). Alan Walker gives a gripping overview.

Naville Numismatics Live Auction 61 features a selection of 669 lots of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, medieval and modern coins, including many lots from the Dattari Collection. All coins were chosen with contribution from NAC’s experts.

In auction 273 Gorny & Mosch will offer coins of excellent quality with outstanding provenances and special collections like Kingdom of Bosporus and Mint Minden.

CNG’s Electronic Auction 480 features 1023 lots. Collectors will find ancient Greek and Roman coins from the Raintree and Todd Hansen collections, as well as US and Anglo-Saxon coins from the Allan Williams Collection.

In their upcoming auctions 79 and 80, Heidelberger Münzhandlung will offer two extraordinary collections at once: a collection of talers minted between 1800 and 1872 as well as a collection of Nuremberg coins struck between the Middle Ages and 1807.

Künker’s auction 342 on 2 and 3 November 2020 will be a literature-only auction. The research library of French coin dealer Alain Poinsignon will be on offer. It contains important numismatic reference works that were published between the 19th and 21st centuries and cover a broad spectrum of subjects from antiquity to present times.

Roma Numismatics’s Auction XX features 1,020 lots from important collections. The top highlight of the auction is the third known aureus of the EID-MAR-type issued by Caesar’s murderer Brutus. The only known specimen available on the market is estimated at £500,000.

On 6 November 2020 Frankfurter Münzhandlung Nachf. will be offering nearly 1250 lots with a total estimate of 1 million euros. One highlight will be the Giesen Collection of medieval issues amongst a wide range of German rarities.
