The Bank of England Museum is offering a lot of activities while it has to stay closed during the Covid-19 pandemic: virtual talks, tours and educational resources.

Virtual Tours

On the website you can find many online tours through the collections of the museum. What about exploring the highlights of the banknotes or discover the women who have designed, made or appeared on the notes? You can even listen to audio descriptions of some chosen highlights.

Or you can get an overview with the tour 325 years, 325 objects.

Smartify

Smartify is a platform to share objects of art and culture. The Bank of England Museum now participates and presents four tours. Check them out on the Smartify website or in the Smartify app.

Book a Virtual Talk

The museum offers a ‘live’ experience, too. You may either organise a virtual visit from one of the Bank Ambassadors to any UK state secondary school or college, or you can sign up to a live talk for adults.

Free Educational Resources

Partnering with The Economist Education Foundation the museum has created a new resource on the future of work. Additionally, teachers find many resources for their students in economy.

And the museum is also very active on Twitter.
