Bob Lyall’s collection of cut and countermarked coins produced a classic ‘white glove sale’ at Dix Noonan Webb on 25 September 2018. The auction’s star was the only recorded countermarked 22 Guilders from Essequibo & Demerara which sold for £55,200.
