The shareholders of World Money Fair Holding GmbH announce that Goetz-Ulf Jungmichel, an experienced trade fair expert with a degree in business administration, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of World Money Fair Holding. He will support Barbara Balz for the upcoming World Money Fair Berlin (03. – 05.02.2023) and will be responsible for the strategic development of the project.
Goetz-Ulf Jungmichel is regarded as a highly experienced and committed leader who is passionate about ensuring that organizations remain fit for the future without losing touch with their heritage. With a proven track record in the strategic realignment and format revision of trade show projects, both at Reed Exhibition Deutschland GmbH and Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, he has been able to successfully demonstrate his qualifications in the past.
“With Mr. Jungmichel, we have succeeded in gaining a modern-thinking trade fair expert for World Money Fair Berlin,” said Gerhard Starsich, spokesman for the shareholders. “The process of modernization and further development of our fair, we see with him in good hands.”

The Money Fair Berlin brings together the numismatic world once a year in Berlin. For years, the World Money Fair has established itself as a visitor fair for everyone involved with coins. The fair is a fixed date in the calendar for coin collectors, coin dealers, coin producers and the supplier industry. More than 300 exhibitors, including more than 60 state mints and national banks, come to present their goods and services on about 9000 square meters of exhibition space. The next fair will be held from 3 to 5 February 2023. The last World Money Fair was held in Berlin on July 15-16, 2022.
