From 7 to 9 November 2022, the 20th TEMAN Conference was held in Singapore. Although the “Technical Meeting of Mints in ASEAN” is, according to its name, a meeting of mints in Southeast Asia, participants included employees of mints and suppliers from all over the world. In total, 120 representatives from more than 20 countries came to Singapore for three days to exchange ideas on the conference subject “New challenges, Repositioning and Sustainability” in the minting industry.

As in 2019, the Singapore Mint hosted the conference, which took place at Crowne Plaza Hotel. In addition to presentations and members-only meetings, the programme included, for instance, a trip to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which are also featured on the conference medal. The organisers were very happy with the outcome and received a lot of positive feedback.

This time, Ursula Kampmann was also among the speakers. She joined the conference online and gave a presentation on “How to Develop a Sustainable Commemorative Coin Policy: Chances and Challenges”.
