What a strong start! The 721 lots of the first Künker auction in the anniversary year realized a total amount of 9.3 million euros! We present the top ten.

In its auctions 347 to 349, auction house Künker presents once again a wealth of private collections. Particularly remarkable is an important collection of coins from Roman Egypt as well as the first part of a collection of Brandenburg coinage. And that’s just the beginning.

Auction 346 is Künker’s spectacular start into the year of its 50th anniversary: the sale features 678 coins and medals as well as 43 orders including selected lösers of Brunswick-Lüneburg from the Friedrich Popken Collection.

With a record-breaking total result of more than 14 million euros, Künker’s Fall Auction Sales have almost doubled their estimate of 7.4 million euros. We present the five most expensive lots of the auction week as well as the surprise of the sale: a lot with an original estimate of only 500 euros.

On 2 and 3 November 2020, auction house Künker in Osnabrück will auction off the library of coin dealer Alain Poinsignon. Künker’s auction 342 on 2 and 3 November 2020 will be a literature-only auction. The research library of French coin dealer Alain Poinsignon will be on offer. It contains important numismatic reference works that were published between the 19th and 21st centuries and cover a broad spectrum of subjects from antiquity to present times.
