December 4, 2014 – The 1st Macau International Coin & Precious Metals Expo, MICAPE 2014, 2-7 December 2014, has on-site authentication and grading by Professional Coin Grading Service at the show and the pre-show events. PCGS represents the industry standard in third-party certification, and since it’s founding in 1986 PCGS experts have graded over 29 million coins with a combined total value of US$29 billion.

While supplies last, each submitter in Macau will receive a free coin housed in the new, crystal clear, scratch resistant holders introduced by PCGS earlier this year. Each holder features a specially-designed Macau commemorative insert label.

PCGS accepts submissions in Room 1102 during the pre-show, 2-4 December, and at Booth D10-11 during MICAPE, 5-7 December. Both events will be held at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel.
Coins received by 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, will be available by the end of the show. Submissions received after 2:00 p.m. on December 5 can be shipped directly to the submitter or picked up at the PCGS Hong Kong Submission Center.
‘PCGS will offer a special discount on Crossover Service at the Macau show for vintage and modern coins previously graded by NGC. Coins that do not cross will be evaluated by PCGS experts for only a US$10 fee. The standard fee will apply for coins that do crossover to be housed in PCGS holders,’ said Ms. Muriel Eymery, PCGS Vice President International Business Development.

Organized by the Macau International Numismatic Association, the 1st Macau International Coin & Precious Metals Expo will be open to the public on Friday 5 December from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 December, from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Admission is US$20.
