Peter Nikolaus Schulten, M.A. (1936-2016)

600kg of Roman coins found in amphorae
In Tomares in southern Spain, construction workers have found nearly 600 kg of coins. Dating to the Tetrarchic era, the folles were stored in 19 amphorae and then buried in the ground.
