Prepare for the 2023 Numismatic Meeting in Bulgaria

The 10th Joint Meeting of the European Coin Find Network and Nomisma.org will be held in conjunction with the Second Bulgarian Numismatic Readings in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June 19-23, 2023. It will be hosted by Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The focus of the conference is on traditional numismatic studies of coin finds (Greek, Celtic, Thracian, Roman, Medieval) and their interactions with modern digital technologies. The program will include four working days, organized in several consecutive sections with breaks for short trips to local points of interest within the city of Sofia (ancient Serdica). Also, a full-day trip to the archaeological site of Heraclea Sintica, the Blagoevgrad Museum of History, and the Rila Monastery is planned.

The conference is organized by The European Coin Find Network (ECFN), Nomisma project and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

To submit your application, please use the online form on the conference webpage. The deadline for submitting your contribution proposal is November 30, 2022. Registration for attendees is open until May 15, 2023.
