To minimize the disruption caused by Brexit, Numismatica Ars Classica has announced the recent opening of a new office in Brussels. From now on, the auction house asks all European Clients who prefer to receive their auction purchases directly from within Europe, to inform them, when registering for the sale, that they would like to place their bids through NAC Europe Srl. This company will represent any registered clients by proxy at NAC auctions, without applying any additional charges other than shipping costs (within Europe), and the Belgian Import VAT from outside EU, which is set at 6%.
Numismatica Ars Classica holds regularly auctions with fine selections of the high quality ancient coins. In 2012 they sold the famous decadrachm from Akragas, the most expensive ancient Greek coin.
The important Brutus aureus exhibited in the British Museum was also sold by NAC in 2004.
