Numismatic events at Chicago in 2012

June 23, 2011 – Krause Publications has announced 2012 dates for its Chicago numismatic events, the Chicago International Coin Fair and Chicago Paper Money Expo.

The 37th annual Chicago International Coin Fair will be held April 26-29, 2012, at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill. One of the most popular U.S. numismatic events, boasting attendance from 12 countries across the world, CICF attracts devoted collectors and dealers of world coins and paper money.
Prestigious auction firm Heritage Auction Galleries will return after a strong, well-received auction of world and ancient coins in April, and will once again offer a variety of rarities from around the world.

Also returning to the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare, the 18th annual Chicago Paper Money Expo will be held March 8-11, 2012. CPMX is one of the largest conventions of its kind in the U.S. Serving the interests of collectors and dealers from across the world, CPMX features rare paper money, as well as collectible stocks and bonds. The CPMX rare currency auction is cataloged and conducted by Lyn Knight Currency Auctions, a world-leading auction company in the field.
