Adding to the highly successful Australian Lunar Series II – 2012 Year of the Dragon, the Perth Mint presents a 5oz Silver Proof coin. Struck from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

Australia / 1 AUD / 1oz .999 silver / 31.135 g / 40.60 mm / Design: Ing Ing Jong / Mintage: 6,000.

The stunning Australian Kookaburra is the first design featured in the exciting new Australian Map shaped coin series. This meticulously struck coin has a limited mintage of only 6,000 and is sure to sell out fast.

Each coin: Australia / 15 AUD / 10oz .9995 platinum / 3.112 g / 16.60 mm / Mintage: 1,000 (each) and 1,000 5-coin-sets.

The 2012 Discover Australia Coin Program now sees the release of the 1/10oz platinum proof coins. These releases are available individually or as a five-coin set. The five coins depict a green and gold bell frog, goanna, kookaburra, red kangaroo, and whale shark in superb colour.
