November 11, 2010 – A comprehensive list of new commemorative coins struck by the Perth Mint reached us recently.

Australia – Mintage: 10.000 – 0.5 oz silver – 0.5 AUD – 99,9 % Fineness – 15.591 g – 36 mm – Designer: Elise Martin

This coin belongs to a series about Australian Bush Babies and shows a dingo puppy.

Australia – Mintage: 170.000 – 1 oz silver – 1 AUD – 99,9 % Fineness – 31.135 g – 45.6 mm

Australia – Mintage: 5.000 – 30 AUD – 32.151 oz silver – 99,9 % Fineness – 1001.002 g – 100.6 mm

A new coin from the series “Chinese Lunar Calendar” shows the rabbit to which the new Chinese year of the rabbit is dedicated, which beginns on February 3rd, 2011.
The coin is available in a gilded version and with an emarald inlay.

Cook Islands – Mintage: 5.000 – 1 oz silver – 99,9 % Fineness – 31.135 g – 40.6 mm – Designer: Darryl Bellotti

On November 2nd the fourth coin of the series of famous Naval Battles was released. It is dedicated to the Battle of Jutland from 1916, a major naval battle of World War I. Perth Mint produces the coin on behalf of the Cook Islands.

Tuvalu – 1 TVD – 13.8 g – 30.6 mm – Designer: Wade Robinson.

Perth mint has released a new coin of its series “Pirates”. This series is meant to make boys young collectors. It is dedicated to Sir Henry Morgan and was struck in the name of Tuvalu.
