After two years of Covid-19 the Mint Directors Conference (MDC) will hold an online forum on 24 and 25 May 2022 to explore the impact the pandemic has had on the circulating coin and numismatic business as well as precious metal coin demand. Because of the pandemic the MDC due to be held in Cape Town in 2020 could not take place. The next in-person conference will be only in 2023 in Canada. The Online Forum thus does not aim at replacing the conference but to complement these events. An impressive array of speakers will explore these issues, address the risk and challenges and present some opportunities.
