July 7, 2016 – Michael Alram is a distinguished Austrian numismatist and expert on Oriental coins. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the numismatic scholarship the American Numismatic Society (ANS) chose him to be the recipient of the 2016 Archer M. Huntington Award. Michael Alram is the 95th recipient of the award.
