March 24, 2011 – During the night of January 28th, 2011 some departments of the Egyptian Museum of Cairo were looted. The photos of the destructions caused by the house breakers could be seen all across the globe. Now, the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities has published a list of stolen items.
Among them, you will spot some famous pieces from the treasure of Tutankhamun. But there are also little ordinary Ushabtis. Keep your guard up, perhaps some pieces might turn up on the Internet.
