May 10, 2012 – During the first weekend of September 2012 and in forthcoming years, in the heart of Poland – Warsaw – there will be organized one of the biggest numismatic fair in the Central – Eastern Europe. This new Polish numismatic and stamp fair – Monety Expo Warsaw – will have the support of the world recognized “Numismata International”, the German company, who has been operating fairs for the numismatic sector for more than 30 years, in its home country, as well as abroad. Success is guaranteed after indicators of big demand for numismatics on the world market have been observed in the recent years. Exhibit area of the Fair is the famous Hall no. 4 at EXPO XXI, which is the most modern and popular exhibiting venue in Europe.

The goal of bringing the main actors of Numismatic and Philatelic world is the organizers’ chance to create an event that will become the most interesting and expected collector’s show for 2012. Among local Polish companies and local dealers, representatives of other countries as well as their issuing authorities – Mints Houses and Central Banks for coins and National Post Offices for stamps, are to be gathered together in Warsaw during Monety Expo Warsaw fair. Auctions and free appraisals will be a vital part of the fair to those private collectors and local dealers who are willing to sell or quote their own treasures on spot.

More than a pure coin show, Monety Expo Warsaw has a potential of becoming the annual rendezvous point for numismatics: professionals and hobbyists. Poland, which has been situated historically between the East and the West seems like a perfect place for this kind of event. For all said, this Numismatic and Philatelic event will be the very first of its sector in Poland to serve eastern and western public, combining modern exhibiting area, international standards and innovative suggestions for the concerned field.
