September 3, 2015 – On August 26, 2015, a press release by Schuler AG bothered the world of mints. “We merge the wide range of production sites in Germany resulting from acquisitions made in the past. This will create more efficient manufacturing structures and help us remain successful in the face of fierce international competition”, explained CEO Stefan Klebert. That also affected the company’s site in Netphen. As of the end of 2016, “the production of presses and new machine components will be discontinued at the company’s sites in Netphen.”

However, mints which favor and use Gräbener coining presses do not have to be worried about any changes, as an inquiry with Gräbener Pressensysteme GmbH & Co. KG has shown: “Gräbener is and will continue to be a legally independent company specialized in the development, distribution and service of presses for the minting of coins and medals, headquartered at Netphen. You can reach your competent contact persons as is usual.” The company will continue to deal with standing and future orders in the department of new machinery and service to the utmost satisfaction.

Dr Ing Thomas Gräbener adds: “Both today and in the future, Gräbener stands for soundness, innovation and customer satisfaction. Though there will be some changes in the company’s production department, as was announced last week, nothing will change for our valued customers.”
