April 20, 2017 – Classic numismatics enthusiasts flocked to Munich once again on March 4 and 5, 2017. The Bavarian metropolis on the Isar river had invited to attend to what is now the 50th NUMISMATA.
On this anniversary event, the most distinguished exhibitors from Germany, Europe and beyond presented a broad range of offers that left nothing to be desired: coins from ancient times to the present, euro coins, precious metals, medals, primitive money, banknotes, historical securities and shares as well as historical means of payment and artefacts.

As always, organizer Erich Modes and the experienced team led by Angela Modes had made sure that it was an event to the liking of both collectors and dealers. After all, the NUMISMATA – constituting the evergreen among the coin fairs – has become a synonym for excellent organization, service tailored to the customers’ needs, and familiar atmosphere. And so it is anything but a surprise that the visitors came not just from Germany but from every corner of the world, notably from the Eastern part of Europe and the U.S.

On their quest for a new favorite item, they got assistance from the fair catalog. Published by CoinsWeekly in cooperation with the NUMISMATA, it focused on “The Time of Caesar“, containing an article and price list. Rounded up by many exciting facts about what’s going in Munich in terms of numismatics, the catalog is most likely being studied by more than one visitor after returning home.

It hardly needs mentioning that the booths of the vendors of accessories, the publishing companies and the Grading Service were well-attended, too. And so, after a successful weekend at the 50th NUMISMATA, everybody is already looking forward to the upcoming coin fairs:

NUMISMATA Berlin: October 14 und 15, 2017
and NUMISMATA Frankfurt: November 4 and 5, 2017.

And the next NUMISMATA in Munich will take place on March 3 and 4, 2018.
