Controversial Bronze Vessels back at their owner

August 12, 2010 – On August 5, 2010 hr-online announced that Michael Müller-Karpe has returned the five ancient bronze vessels, which had been object of dispute between the Hessian ministry of science and art and their owner.
hr-online writes: The museum archeologist Michael Müller Karpe states that an employee of the Hessian ministry of science and art collected the objects. Then, the pieces were returned to a dealer in ancient art from Frankfurt.
The attorney of the art dealer concerned confirmed that the five vessels have been returned to his client.
